Designed as a specialised research tool for the systematic study of exclusion in the arts, the project’s digital repository has been developed using Omeka S, an open-source platform widely used in the digital humanities for the creation and management of online collections and research archives. The site (https://artguments.omeka.net/) functions as a structured and searchable repository in which arguments concerning exclusion are documented, classified, and tagged according to the project’s conceptual framework. The resource primarily consists of texts that present or analyse exclusionary arguments in natural language, complemented by selected audiovisual materials, including images and videos. It is intended for experts and scholars seeking to engage critically with these debates.
Our LinkedIn presence (https://www.linkedin.com/company/artguments) is conceived as a professional network aimed at fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and dialogue around the study of exclusion in the arts. Through this platform, ArtGuments seeks to engage with experts and practitioners across a range of fields, including digital humanities, machine learning, linguistics, psychology, discourse analysis, and fine arts. By connecting with researchers and professionals working at the intersection of these areas, the project aims to expand its analytical scope, encourage knowledge exchange, and develop new perspectives on the mechanisms and language of exclusion.
