About the Open Call
ArtGuments is an international initiative exploring experiences of exclusion in contemporary art. Artists will be invited to share personal testimonies and submit images of their work for consideration in a future virtual exhibition and public engagement programme.
Who Can Participate?
Artists from the UK and internationally who have experienced exclusion, marginalisation, barriers to participation, or underrepresentation within artistic, curatorial, gallery, museum, or institutional contexts.
What Can You Submit?
- A short video testimony sharing your experience.
- Audio or written testimonies (if preferred).
- Images of your artwork that reflect your practice or experience.
Exhibition Opportunity
Selected artists may have their work featured in a curated international virtual exhibition alongside artist testimonies, reaching audiences across cultural, academic, and public sectors.
International Virtual Exhibition
The exhibition will bring together artworks, artist testimonies, and critical perspectives on representation and exclusion in contemporary art. It will create an international digital space where artists’ experiences and creative practices can be seen, heard, and discussed by diverse audiences.
